The Ultimate Arctic Journey

DAY 1 – Tromsø

Fly to Tromsø. Upon arrival, transfer with ‘Flybussen’ (the airport shuttle bus) to the city centre.  The flybus stops throughout the city centre, you will depart at the Dock Hotel stop, where you can check into your accommodation for the next 2 nights, The Dock Hotel. 

DAY 2 – Whale Watching

You depart Tromsø at 08:00 in the morning and head out to the whales’ feeding grounds in time to enjoy the few hours of polar daylight. On the way you can take in the breathtaking views of frozen landscapes in comfortable, warm lounges with panoramic windows. You’ll find a selection of food and drinks for purchase on board.

While you search for the whales, the passionate guides will share personal stories about interesting sights along the way and give you in depth information about the Orca and Humpback Whale. Once the whales have been spotted, the boat will switch to it’s electric and silent engine to minimise disturbance to the whales. Purpose built for whale watching, the boat has multiple decks, giving you space and a great views.

DAY 3 – Overnight bus Tromso – Rovaniemi

Today is free to spend at leisure until your bus at 20:00.

There are plenty of attractions and activities in this vibrant University city. Try a thrilling snowmobile excursion, go reindeer spotting or take a gentle harbour cruise. A stroll through the city reveals museums, cafés and a cable car that takes you to the top of Storsteinen for stunning panoramic views of the surroundings

20:00 Aurora Express Tromso – Rovaniemi

DAY 4 – Rovaniemi

Arrive into Rovaniemi this morning.  From the bus station is it is just a 15 minute drive via local taxi or private transfer to your accommodation (supplement applies). Enjoy a morning in Rovaniemi at leisure. 

This afternoon embark on a thrilling adventure, just 6 minutes walk from your hotel.

Husky Safari and Farm Visit - Experience the thrill of speed being pulled by a husky team whilst you sit back & enjoy the views the snowy landscapes.  After the safari you’ll get to know the other residents of the kennel. With the entrance fee you can stay in the kennel  area as long as you like, meet the dogs and take photos.

Afterwards, enjoy a leisurely stroll back to your accommodation.  A final leisurely evening in Scandinavia under the stars. 

DAY 5 – UK

Private transfer to Rovaniemi airport in time for your flight home.
