Hotel Foroyar

This 4* hotel located just a 20 minute walk from the centre of Torshavn. Opened in 1983, the Danish architects aimed to create a hotel that reflected its surroundings and the result does just that. The low rise building seemingly burrows into the ground with the green turf clad roof blending perfectly into the immediate landscape. The interior is a mixture of functionality and design. The light filled spacious bedrooms are decorated in typical modern Scandinavian style and enjoy an impressive view over the city harbour and the island of Nólsoy.
