The Ice Hotel Wedding

Consecrated each January after the season’s Icehotel is built, the chapel with its glistening ice pews strewn with reindeer skins and translucent altar gives the words ‘White Wedding’ a very special significance. Ceremonies are conducted by the local pastor and your honeymoon night spent in one of the hotel’s extravagantly sculpted ice suites.

DAY 1 UK – STOCKHOLM
Scheduled SAS flight to Stockholm, private transfer to and overnight at The Elite Plaza, stylish, contemporary and bang in the centre of town. Explore the cobbled alleyways of Gamla Stan, dine on scented reindeer or just relax.


DAY 2 STOCKHOLM – ICE HOTEL
Breakfast in the hotel’s art nouveau style restaurant before airport transfer and morning flight to Kiruna, where you will be met on arrival and transfer to the village of Jukkasjarvi. Guided tour of Ice Hotel and its environs before checking in to your cosy log cottage.


DAY 3 ICE HOTEL
Your big day. After breakfast, your local guide will escort you into Kiruna and deal with the necessary but simple formalities. With these out of the way, return to Jukkasjarvi. Time to settle the butterflies and prepare for your special moment - the wedding itself - in the glistening precincts of the Ice Hotel Chapel with its’ reindeer skin pews and frozen altar. A special Wedding Breakfast can be arranged at the local Inn and your wedding night will be in one of the hotel’s spectacular ice suites.


DAY 4 ICE HOTEL
Day at leisure with time to explore either the village of Jukkasjarvi or perhaps take a snowmobile, husky or reindeer safari. Overnight in Aurora cottage.


DAY 5 ICE HOTEL – UK
Breakfast at the Inn, after which it’s time to say ‘goodbye’ to the coolest place in Sweden. Transfer to Kiruna for your return flight, via Stockholm, back to the UK.

Stay amongst ice art in the shape of fantastic design and wonderful sculptures. Spacious accomodation for a special occasion. You sleep in a thermal sleeping bag on a special bed of snow and ice, on reindeer skins.

These double rooms are spacious and bright like Kaamos - the midwinter light, with a contemporary Scandinavian design. 
 
The double bed in some rooms can be converted into twin beds (Kaamos twin room). 
ICEHOTEL - Nordic Hotel Chalet

Two separate bedrooms, one with a double bed that can be converted into twin beds and one with bunk beds. A total of 4 beds.

ICEHOTEL - Northern Lights Hotel Chalet

The Northern light hotel chalet has two separate bedrooms for 3 persons, meaning a single bed and a double bed. The rooms have a ceiling skylight for a view of Midnight Sun or Northern lights.

Child Snowmobile Safari

After a short instruction period with your guide, this snowmobile safari, lasting approximately 11⁄2 hours is fun for boys and girls alike.

Daytime Snowmobile Safari

A 3 hour guided snowmobile safari along 28 km of marked trails in the surrounding wilderness.   A stop for a traditional Sami lunch by an open fire is included before returning to Jukkasjarvi.

Driving On Ice

Discover your inner Jeremy Clarkson in a Saab Sport Turbo on an ice test track a short distance from the IceHotel. Supervised driving at up to 100km per hour Fri & Sun only.

Evening Snowmobile Safari

A 4 hour guided evening tour in search of the Northern Lights with a traditional Sami light supper at a wilderness encampment.
