Kangerlussuaq, set at the head of a deep fjord on Greenland’s west coast, is your base for some of the most extraordinary adventures in the world. Get up close and personal with Wild Musk Oxen; drive up on top of the Greenland inland icecap; husky sledge in the time honoured manner of the Innuit or snowmobile in the style of their contemporary descendents. Marvel at the awe inspiring scenery and watch out for one of nature’s most extraordinary phenomena, the Northern Lights.
DAY 1 UK – COPENHAGEN
Scheduled SAS flight to Copenhagen and overnight at Hilton Copenhagen Airport Hotel.
DAY 2 COPENHAGEN – KANGERLUSSUAQ
Departure by Air Greenland at 09.15 to Kangerlussuaq. Lunch served on board. Arrival 09.55 local time. Meet and greet service by local guide. Check in at Hotel Kangerlussuaq. Information meeting.
DAYS 3, 4 and 5 KANGERLUSSUAQ
Optional excursions.
DAY 6 KANGERLUSSUAQ – COPENHAGEN
Departure by Air Greenland at 11.10 to Copenhagen. Lunch served on board. Arrival in Copenhagen 19.30 local time. Overnight at Hilton Copenhagen Airport Hotel.
DAY 7 COPENHAGEN – UK
SAS flight to Heathrow.
